CNC
After building the foam wing CNC hot wire cutter, I began to build a three axes CNC router.
Electronic board was the one from the foam cutter machine. Software was developed starting from
the one I wrote for the foam cutter. It translates .dxf files properly drawn into axes movements (see the software section
where both linux and dos versions are freely downloadable).
It can be seen from the pictures that it certainly is a rattlebone machine but it is perfectly
tailored for its use: cutting balsa, ply and depron shapes.
